Kyong Agapiou, the designer behind Designs by Kyong, came to RDW Design Studio because her website branding needed a redesign. She moved to North Carolina from Connecticut and was starting fresh in a new area.
Her business had been based on referrals and she now needed to focus on people searching online for her services. Her website was difficult to navigate, didn’t reflect her 25 years of interior design experience and wasn’t optimized for organic search results.
In order to ensure we kept Kyong’s website branding goals top of mind and incorporated her vision, my team and I began with a strategy session to discuss the website architecture and customer journey. We developed her ideal client avatar, mission statement and other foundational brand pieces.
Following the strategy session, we met to collaborate on keyword research so we could optimize the website for search engines. Once the brand visuals (color palette, typography, logo) and copy optimized with keywords were complete, the custom design and development of the new website began.
Kyong’s commitment to delivering an amazing client experience along with her open communication, organization and thoughtful approach to design are now clearly reflected in the website branding and design.
Our collaboration has resulted in a new website that is designed to attract her ideal client, showcase her various services, feature her absolutely stunning design work and guide the visitor to contact her.
