Alexandra Fernandez is the artist behind Staten Island, New York based ALX Interiors. Her 30 years experience in the interior design industry and her stunning design work were not reflected in her website.
She was referred to RDW Design Studio by a well-known business coach and the first thing Alexandra said to me about her website was “I hate it and I want it redesigned”.
In the past she hadn’t made her website a priority and now she was ready to focus on it. She felt her current website looked more retail than like the high end, luxury design service she offered her clients. Also, her website wasn’t attracting the kind of clients she wanted to work with.
Alexandra and I got to work because all of my custom design projects are a collaboration. In our strategy call it became apparent that Alexandra found her current website’s layout confusing and busy and she wanted a simple website design, one where it would be easy for visitors to find the information they needed.
Alexandra had a clear understanding of who her ideal client is, what her brand values are and how she wanted potential clients to feel when they interacted with her website. All of this foundational brand information comes together in the simple website design I created for Alexandra.
Now Alexandra has a high-end interior design website that is aligned with her business and her brand. It showcases her stunning design work and outlines her services and her design process in a clear and sophisticated manner. Alexandra now has a residential and commercial portfolio with individual project pages that she’s happy with.
The entire user experience has been greatly improved. It’s easy for visitors to her website to contact her, which is the main goal of her website. They are guided to her contact form from each page of the site and also have the ability to click to email or call her. Alexandra now has a simple website design that will work strategically for her business.
