Owner and Principal Designer of 2 Navy Lane, Stacey Dobrovolny, has been in the interior design industry for over 25 years with a portfolio that spans from Hawaii to Maine. She wanted to specialize in working with high-end interior design clients and luxury builders.
However, Stacey did not have a luxurious website that would resonate with those kinds of clients. Instead what she had was a DIY website that could only get her so far. It was difficult to navigate and it caused Stacey stress and frustration every time she needed to make a change to it.
Stacey followed RDW Design Studio on Instagram for a while. She contacted me because she loved that I specialize in working with interior designers and she thought my portfolio of work was beautiful.
We began Stacey’s project with the strategy and prep phase. Stacey wanted to keep her existing logo and add new typography and new a color palette to augment when she already had.
Stacey was advertising with Houzz and wanted to stop that so a website optimized for search engines was important. So we spent time discussing the website architecture, the customer journey, her ideal client and keywords.
I was also moving Stacey from Wix to WordPress so her website could be on the best platform for SEO and so she could have more flexibility with customizations, both now and in the future.
Stacey’s new luxurious website was designed with strategy and intention. Now Stacey’s website displays her incredible design work along with showing her expertise and passion for creating beautiful spaces. It includes detailed information about her services and process so potential clients know what to expect. It guides visitors to take the action she wants them to by guiding them to contact her.
