As a small business owner you wear a lot of hats. So having the right interior design resources and business tools to help simplify things is instrumental. Here are some of the tools I depend on to run my business and I hope they help you run yours.
Siteground is where I host my websites and it’s also the hosting platform I use for all of my development sites for my clients. Siteground offers managed WordPress plans including installation, automated migrations, automatic updates, advanced caching and expert support. In fact their customer support is the best I’ve encountered in ten years.
It’s my preference to keep where I purchase my domain names and where I host my websites separate. Namecheap is one of the leading domain registrars and they offer a wide variety of domains. They also include domain privacy at no additional cost which is a big benefit.
Termageddon offers a comprehensive solution for all the legal policies you need for your website. And, even better, they monitor the ever-changing laws and update those policies for you so you don’t have to. Embedding their code on your website means the policies automatically update.
The KEY™: The Designer’s Ultimate Pricing Tool was developed by well-known Business Coach, Certified Body Language Trainer and best-selling author, Nancy Ganzekaufer. Proven successful by 100’s of designers, this easy-to-use pricing tool allows you to calculate project-based pricing on a whole new level.
Mailerlite is a simple and flexible email marketing platform. They have a pretty robust free option and alternatives for paid plans as well. It integrates seamlessly with WordPress and allows for automations that other free plans don’t. And they have great customer support.
The ability to allow your clients to schedule online with you streamlines the booking process and removes all the back and forth. Calendly is a robust booking platform that syncs with your Google calendar and integrates seamlessly with WordPress.
Having a clear process and staying organized are extremely important to me so I use Asana to track all my website design projects. Asana is a platform that will keep you organized, help you stay on track and meet your goals so your business can grow.
“Robyn is a website wizard! From our first meeting I was sold on her services. Robyn is professional yet personable and has a way of setting a client at ease throughout the website building process.”
